Prayer Harvest Ministries was birthed on the morning of Mar 22, 1992 as Prophetess Wanda was seeking the Lord in intercession for her family, church, and direction for her own life. The Lord spoke to her saying, “Ask me for 100 souls” and as she did He said, “Ask me for 1000 Souls and I will give them to you.” Complying with the request, again she heard the Lord saying, “Ask me for 10,000 and I will give them to you.” She pressed to know more of what the Spirit of the Lord was saying and then the Word of the Lord came to her saying, “You shall go out with Joy, and be led forth with peace. You shall sow in tears but reap in joy. With no doubt you shall come in rejoicing bringing in sheaves with you. Pray for the harvest…Prayer…then harvest…Prayer…then harvest.

Prayer Harvest Ministries is an instrument - a sickle thrust into my harvest fields, bringing in my chosen fruit. You take care to pray and I will take care of the Ministries.”After sharing this Word with people who often prayed with her, Prophetess Wanda began prayer meetings in her home at 5 o’clock every Monday evening. Prayer Harvest began with five (5) faithful souls: Loretta Williams, Connie Lacey, Debra Washington-Jones, Linda Oakes and Sandra Walker. Being a single Mom of three, there were challenges but they were met by teaching her children, Ezekiel, Matthew, and Joi the love of God and how to help her pray. Prophetess Wanda was consistent to pray, even if others didn’t show up on some Monday evenings. She persistently met the Lord to pray at that designated time and ask him for the souls that He required.

The Lord then led her to begin teaching prayer before the prayer meetings. He also increased her to begin another Bible Study/prayer meeting in Leeds, Alabama at the home of Janet Waites on Monday mornings. She submitted herself and the gifts to her local church, Faith Chapel Christian Center, by joining the intercessory prayer team and the teaching ministry. She met often with her pastor, Michael D. Moore, talking and sharing with him the directions the Lord was taking her.

The Prayer Harvest team began their journey to take prayer to others in hospitals, nursing homes, cells groups, in different cities and states and even other countries, teaching people to call on the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ for their lives, salvation, deliverances and healing. Prophetess took the intercessors on retreats and shut-ins on ranches and the beaches of Florida to teach them how to wait before the Lord and release their own cares to be more effective intercessors. On one of the retreats, the Lord began to share with her about what happens when true worship takes places in a praying heart. So began ‘When Worship Prays (WWP),” which is equivalent to what others call Morning Glory. “WWP” is a time of intense worship and seeking the Father’s heart.

As Prophetess Wanda continued to seek God concerning “WWP”, He instructed her to erect a Prayer Wall with names, pictures and prayer requests to allow for His divine intervention into the lives of the people represented so that their lives would be changed forever. She began a worship conference in Trussville, Alabama and in Tulsa, Oklahoma for intercessors to stir their hearts. The goal of the “When Worship Prays Conference” was to teach intercessors the importance of pressing to the very height of worship and to enter into the throne room of God, clothed in humility, receiving the grace needed to help them pray for the names on the “prayer wall” and others for whom He would give them a burden to pray.

The intercessors traveled to sit under other Prayer Generals in the Body. They were women of God such as Bobbie Jean Merck, Lynn Hammond, Juanita Bynum, and Cindy Jacobs. In addition, Prophetess Wanda taught the practical, basic fundamentals of prayer and the Art of Intercession, praying for the great harvest of Souls. With the Holy Sprit working along with the team, God answered and they saw many souls come into the kingdom. Much deliverance took place as people sought the anointing and prophetic gift of the Lord flowing through her life to set them free. Prayer Harvest took their first international trip to Kenya, Africa, fulfilling the commission of word of the Lord to “Take Prayer Around The world, Teaching People to Call on the Name of the Lord.” There they fed hungry orphan children in the marshes of Gaultheria, Kenya and coaxed young boys to give up sniffing glue bottles and to give their lives to the Lord. The team held crusades in the fields of Africa, and rolling up their sleeves, they built a church structure in Nairobi Kenya, East Africa.

Prayer Harvest also ventured to Seattle, Olympia and other small areas of the state of Washington. These areas were unchurched and revivals were held to minister salvation. While there, the team was able to go pray in the healing rooms started by John G. Lakes and held meetings and prayer conferences supporting other ministers and ministries.

Prayer Harvest sponsors ministers and missionaries to China, Korea, Tanzania, Africa and Jerusalem, Israel. The Spirit of Elijah is upon this ministry as they run before the chariots of the King and the Five-Fold Ministers in prophetic intercession.

Prayer Harvest has other ministries that have been birthed through the heart of Prophetess Wanda, namely Keep Watch Prayer Line and Quarterly Newsletters, CIP Session (Confession, Intercession and Possession), The Joy Explosion for Youth, Begin Again Women’s Ministry, and Prayer School. Additionally, nearly three years ago, the Lord spoke again to Prophetess Wanda saying, “David learned how to slay the Lion and the Bear, while taking care of the sheep. There are Giants in the Land.” Hearing and accepting this call and mantle, Prophetess was called to Pastor and to seed a church in Trussville, Alabama, “Believers’ Way Victorious Church.”

Prophetess Wanda honors and esteems highly the teachers and mentors the Lord has required that she sit under to develop her gifts. They are her Pastor and mentor, Michael D. Moore, Prophet Joe Brock, and Prophet John Kempf. She is also very blessed and honored by the intercessors God has given to serve with her and for the Joshua Spirit the Lord has given to stand with her in Min. Collina Washington and Finished Works.
